Cosmic Lara

I took the advice of Mur4s4me and reworked the hands and hair on this one. I also found a really cool shot of the Orion nebula from the Hubble telescope and used that as a background. I was going to submit it as an edit to the original color version of Lara Looking Coy, but it was so different I decided to submit it separately. So, which do you prefer?

I realize that I've posted a bunch of drawings of Lara, but I've never really described her. Lara is, of course, the heroine of our story: a runaway orphan with the gift of extrasensory perception. She works as a cocktail waitress in a goth/fetish club, and spends her spare time reading or doing martial arts. One night at the club, a stranger walks in and changes her life forever, when he tells her of her true origins. Her whole life she has known that she was different, but she would never have guessed that she wasn't human.

Now she must travel to a distant planet, in the hopes of finding a home, and others like her. On the way she'll find a stowaway furry critter who moonlights as a woman, a brilliant scientist trapped in a thirteen-year-old body, and a fierce lady pirate who's out for blood. She'll also fall in love. But, I'm getting ahead of myself, and there's more to come...
